ON THIS NEWYEAR

         One more gift for you all from god the almighty. You are given the honor to welcome yet another year. Just think for a while, that how much of kind he is. He gave you the luck to see the new year’s first moment. He let you enjoy the eve. He let you share your joy with your dear ones. He let you welcome the new smiles and wishes. He also let you live a wonderful life ahead, unlike the passed away men. Yes....you are honored with a new life. On this occasion let’s thank our father, god the almighty for his blessings on us. Let’s show our gratitude towards his mercy on us for letting us see the dawn of the new days. Now I wanna ask you something. What are you gonna give him in return for the kindness that he has shown on us? What would be your token of thanks for him, a one rupee or two rupee coin into the temple treasury? Or a vow to the chapel? But I would like to remind you that, when you offer something, have it from your heart. From the heart means, it should be genuine. It should be of 100% dedication. God accepts only those which are true, true from the depth. But offering some sort of costly materials can never be the truest.

         So this is a chance for you to think of those some things by which our lord gets satisfied... it is nothing but a good heart, a pure heart. So why can’t we take a new thought on this new year? On this new year, lets start building a new era on some people’s life, including ours. From the year ahead onwards, let’s start thinking for others also; others in the sense, those who have no one to be taken care off; those who live their life in the most pathetic way. From this year onwards, include the needy and the paining people in your prayers. Donate something from your savings, not to the treasury of the temple or the church, but to the hands that beg before you. when you spend more than what you actually need, remember for a while that someone is somewhere suffering from hunger, who could satisfy his suffering, if he had at least half of what you would have spent in excess. Keep a little love for the real needy, apart from your blood relations, who never have them at all, outside the walls surrounding you, on the streets, near to the garbage dumps, searching for their meals. Pray for them, for they too are our brothers. They too are humans, equally worth of living , but denied for some reasons unknown.

         We should never let our brothers suffer and die on the streets. We can change the world. Lets hold our hands together so that no more life is born or thrown on the path sides and garbage dumps. I would like you all to have a resolution on the new year, as a token of gratitude towards our lord for his mercy in us for our new life on the new year .lets all work together to change the lives of the suffering men. Determine that, on one day or the other we will do something for the society, either today or tomorrow, we shall put all our efforts to help the needy. One thing you should keep in mind that you are given the privilege to live, no only to live your lives, but also to love others and make them live. So let’s start the new year, with new determinations and resolutions, to enlighten many lives, and thus the whole world.

The Good Shepherd....

Have you ever felt that no one loves you? Have you felt that even god fails to love you? But, I say you, that no one loves you as god does...

     Here I have a small story for you...a small one, but has a big lesson to be known.

     Once there lived a shepherd. He had hundred sheep. Everyday he used to take his flock for grazing to a mountain valley. Sometimes he let them graze on their own wish. They go in group and finally, at the end of the day, they returned to him without any delay.  When the dawn came, he took them to the stable and closed its gate. Then he remained outside till the sun arises the next day. Though he slept in the nights, he was always vigilant at his mind. Even the howling of the foxes and jackals woke him up and assure the flock's safety again and again.

     One day as usual, he took the flock for grazing. He remained at the usual place and let the flock move for grazing. When the day was about to end up, the flock returned. But the shepherd was very much shocked to find that one of his hundred sheep was missing. He called out for the lost one. He wandered here and there to find it. But at the same time, he had to keep his eye on the left flock also, so that nothing harmed it, while going in search of the lost one. He found himself annoyed very much to return without finding his one lost sheep.

     After searching for a long time, he could hear a feeble crying sound of the sheep. He moved towards the sound. He could know that it was in some kind of danger. He made his steps faster. At last he reached the top of the mountain. The cry of the sheep was nearer, and it made him more and more eager to reach the crying, lost one. When he reached the top edge, he found that the sheep was at the edge of the chasm. One careless step of it might make it die at the deep mountain crack. It was frightened and was crying in fear of dying. It didn’t know how to get back.

     On finding the master walking towards it, it wanted to express the fear, at the same time, its gratitude towards him. It was sure that its master would never let it down. It knew that he would then save it from the fear and the danger. He extended his hands towards the sheep. The warmth of the master's care gave the sheep a new hope, a new life. The sheep was saved from the death

.

      The shepherd raised the sheep with his own hands, held it close to him...and said, "Though I have ninety nine other sheep, only you can make it a hundred. You are also the one for whom I have spent my life and time. So I will not forget you."

 

      The shepherd can never forget his cattle. He lives with them. He is ready to spare his life and time for his sheep. If we are been compared to the cattle, god, the almighty is our master. Be sure, he will not forget you ever. When your friends betray you, he accompanies you. When your relations harm you, he saves you. When you are denied manly love, you deserve divine love. Never are you forgotten. Father can never forget his children. You may sometimes have to suffer a lot of pain. Sometimes you may feel alone. Sometimes you may hate yourself. but remember, even then there is an unending, incomparable, unconditional love behind you...,the purest love...the divine love... the love that cares for you, the love that pains for you, the love that sees you and follows you. Realize that divine love. It will never ask you anything in return, other than to be its dearest son or daughter.

      Give all your pains to that lord; he will bear them for you. Leave all your burdens; he will carry them for you. Only he can save you from all your pains. Only he knows you in the right way you are to be known. Only he can wipe off your tears. Only he can give you the eternal life. Believe in him. He will never leave you in vain. He says to you "fear never, I will not forget you. I have carved you on my palms"... Trust him...he is there for you...always...

SHE...,THE MOTHER ANGEL

”Being unwanted, unloved, uncared for, forgotten by everybody, I think that is a much greater hunger, a much greater poverty than the person who has nothing to eat.” 
 If these words touched your heart, rather than your mind, there is a seed of real humanity inside you. And if I say that these are the words of Holy Mother Teresa, you will know how much she was close to god and the human kind. And that was why she remained as an angel sent by our LORD, and became the messenger between the Him and the human race. I wonder if any human can be so pure at one’s heart.

  A heart like hers is incomparable, adorable. Words merely cannot describe the purity and dedication of such an unconditional love. Only she could hold the ones, who were in the most disgusting living situations, close to her heart. The souls suffocating from the hold of deadly diseases were taken care of without any complaints. Those who were disregarded got enough love of god through her.

  She never hesitated to clean up the worst wounds, those wounds which always had pus flowing out, those wounds which descended them from the society and the people. The bruise on their body became scars of pain, disrespect and inattention. Their hunger for love and care grew more and more, as they were avoided by the society, more and more. No one could realize the thing that the paining hearts needed more care and attention, but only she, the angel.

  Those neglected souls were the luckiest, actually, for they were filled up with the pure unconditional love of her, and thereby, with the god’s. For her, charity was never an interest…but it was something divine. Fully dedicated, as she said once,” Each one of them is Jesus in disguise”. Only a blessed heart can see godliness in everyone. Every man who reached her seemed to her as Lord Jesus, the lord who died for the sins of human, who was crucified for the entire mankind, who carried the burden of manly sins as the cross on his shoulders, being thirsty, but given abhorrence and abnegated.

  She could find herself in the eternal joy and satisfaction, wiping each drop of tears of the crying souls. She took care of each paining heart with the purest love, as her dedication to the lord. Never was she worried for the way to proceed, for she knew that, god will show her the solution himself, for something that god called her for. And her belief led her on the path. That is why her deeds are service, rather than charity. She knew well that “The fruit of faith is love and the fruit of love is service”.

  Human kind is glorified that she was once here in this world. My intention is not to spread the religion, but to convey you, not to forget the needy before us. And the angel Mother Teresa is there in front of you as an example for you to follow. I wanted to remind you that we should never be lacking the essence of humanity and spirituality. “If you can't feed a hundred people, then fed just one” and your name will be glorified in the heaven. If you can’t feed them, just give them the most pure love, expecting nothing and your name will be glorified by LORD.
